Turning Point Descendants

Do you have a suffragist in YOUR family tree? We want to hear all about her! TPSM is gathering family stories, histories, memorabilia, and any other items related to the struggle of women to win the right to vote. Our goal is to educate the public about these brave women and we want your input.

We would be especially delighted to hear from you if you are descended from, or otherwise related to anyone on, the list of women (below) who were imprisoned at either the Occoquan Workhouse in Lorton, VA, or in Washington, DC in 1917.

Please contact us by email at descendants@suffragistmemorial.org and tell us your ancestor’s story.
